We have maps for every known physical space. But when it comes to immaterial places, they're explored but never charted. In this project I took feelings that all humans experience and combined them with different types of maps.
We've all been there. It's pure hell to get through. Using a typical road map, I took a tissue box and made it into a practical navigational tool for finding your way around heartbreak.
I actually plotted out a map of how you can get over a generic break-up.
Using inspiration from topographical maps and oral fixations, I created this map on a pencil.
Navigating around patience is not the problem, finding it is. So I made a puzzle that by the time you complete the map, you'll definitely have found all the patience in the universe.
OPTIMISM AND PESSIMISM
Borrowing imagery from the maps of olde, I placed these two conflicting feelings on a single glass cup. Depending on how the viewer feels determines which kingdom they find themselves in.
It's a map that only works on one person's face. Mine.
